What a Tournament!
What a fantastic weekend we had at the first ever Hawkhurst United Junior FC Tournament!
With teams travelling from across the local area, it was brilliant to welcome so many young footballers to Hawkhurst for a packed weekend full of football, competition and fun.
The atmosphere around the pitches was fantastic. Players gave their all, coaches supported their teams and families cheered from the sidelines. There was some great football on show, but just as importantly, there were plenty of smiles and great memories being made.
All of our teams gave it their best and we had some great results across the weekend.
We had some amazing feedback from visiting teams, players and parents about what a brilliant, welcoming atmosphere there was and what a fantastic day had been had by all. Hearing such lovely comments made all the hard work that went into organising the tournament completely worthwhile.
A huge thank you to all the clubs who took part, our fantastic volunteers, referees, sponsors and everyone else who helped make the day possible.
We couldn’t have asked for a better first tournament.
