What a legend! 💪🏻
Our Chairman, Nick Writer, has successfully completed the iconic Three Peaks Challenge, taking on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over just 24 hours and we couldn’t be prouder of him!
The challenge involved approximately 23 miles of mountain climbing and a staggering 10,000 feet of ascent across the three peaks. And as if that wasn’t tough enough, Nick had to battle some seriously challenging conditions along the way, including wind, rain and snow!
But he did it! 👏🏻
Nick’s incredible challenge wasn’t just about pushing himself to the limit. He took on the Three Peaks to raise money to help ensure that young people can continue to enjoy sport and the opportunities that come with being part of a team. ⚽️
He set himself a fundraising target of £1,000, and is now getting closer and closer to reaching his goal.
A huge well done, Nick, from everyone at Hawkhurst United Junior FC. Your determination, commitment and willingness to take on such a huge challenge is something we’re all incredibly proud of.
If you haven’t donated yet and would like to support Nick and this fantastic cause, there’s still time to help him reach his £1,000 target.
All that’s left to say is… Nick, you are the man! 💪🏻👏🏻
